It is necessary in this day and age to remind the world of the Great Commission that was instituted by our Lord and Savior just prior to His Ascension to glory at the right hand of the Father in Matthew 28: 19. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
It is the mission of this ministry to remind everyone that we come into contact with, that God loved us so much that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believed on Him would have everlasting life. We will talk to everyone about the saving grace bestowed on us in remembrance of what that grace has done for us. We call to mind that there are none righteous, no not one and before we accepted Christ, that like all men we suffered from the illness that has plagued all of humanity from the time of Adam to the present the illness of sin both original and lived. We have come to understand we were born at odds with Our Father and that as we got older like the prodigal son that we willfully turned completely from our Father, took his wealth as our own and squandered all that we were given for an opportunity to live in the hog pen. In a word, we were “Once Wayward Brethren.”
With a dire sense of urgency, and a resolve to be utterly transparent we will openly and without hesitation share what we looked like before we encountered the Risen Savior and how we have been changed by being in relationship with Him. We want to be vessels that demonstrate the full efficacy and power of the saving grace that is so freely given when in forth rightness and the deepest of humility we can say to the sin sick soul that, “I came to Jesus as I was and He changed me when I got there.”
It is therefore our mission to help everyone that we encounter to come to the realization that they are hopelessly lost apart from our heavenly Father and that He receives our return to Him with open arms through our belief in the atoning sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are further determined to teach that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit makes it possible to live a holy life that is born of grace through faith, bathed in righteousness and love, and the understanding that we are working toward spiritual maturity and that the perfection of a totally sinless life will only come when we see God face to face with Jesus at His right hand.
